    Day 1: Arrival in Beijing

    Arrive in Beijing. Your private guide and driver will pick you up from the airport and take you to your hotel.

    Day 2: Tianan'men Square Forbidden City, Hutong Tour

    Your first stop is Tian’anmen Square, the largest central square in the city, where many national celebration ceremonies were held. Then is the nearby must-see attraction - Forbidden City.
    After Chinese lunch at a local restaurant, have an interesting Hutong tour with rickshaw to discover the old Beijinger’s life. You will first learn some knowledge about Hutong’s history at Shi Family Hutong Museum. Then take a rickshaw ride through the maze of Hutongs. It’s the best way to experience the traditional side of Beijing.

    Day 3: Mutianyu Great Wall, Temple of Heaven

    Have a fresh morning in Mutianyu Great Wall, one of the most spectacular section of Great Wall but less crowded. A round way cable car is arranged for you to reach the wall and get down. From the cable car, you can overlook the dense trees and winding mountains.
    Enjoy your lunch at a Chinese Garden Restaurant with farmhouse dishes. After that, we will drive you to the downtown area. The afternoon tour starts in the Temple of Heaven, where ancient emperors held prayer and sacrifice ceremonies to the Heaven for a good harvest.

    Day 4: Summer Palace

    Come and visit the Summer Palace this morning. It’s a world-famous royal garden, combining natural landscape with exquisite garden design. After lunch, your guide and driver will escort you to the train station. China’s fastest and most comfortable bullet train takes only four and a half hours to get from Beijing to Xi’an. Upon arrival, meet your Xi’an tour guide and head to the hotel

    Day 5: Terracotta Army Museum and Big Wild Goose Pagoda

    Crowned as “the eighth wonder of the world”, the Terracotta Army is a symbol of the splendid civilization of ancient China, and a must-see attraction during your Xi’an tour. These life-sized terracotta warriors have been guarding the underground tomb for thousands of years. With your guide’s vivid narration, you will learn more the Qin Dynasty.
    After lunch, you will visit the Small Wild Goose Pagoda, which is an important symbol of Xi’an in the Tang Dynasty (618 - 907AD). Climbing up the steep stairs, you will get a bird’s-eye view of the city.

    Day 6: Ancient City Wall, Muslim Quarters

    Start your tour from the ancient Xi’an City Wall. The walls, ramparts, gates and watchtowers form one of the oldest, largest and best-preserved ancient city defenses in China. You can rent a bike to ride on the wall, which would be enjoyable and interesting. Not far is the Muslim Quarters, a lively and bustling street where you can have a stroll and appreciate local food.
    After lunch, you will take a flight to Shanghai. Meet your Shanghai guide at the arrival hall and get transferred to your hotel

    Day 7: Yuyuan

    Come and experience Shanghai’s unique blend of old and new. Shikumen is a kind of old-fashioned house that combines eastern and Western architectural features. Most Shanghai people were born and raised there. Over time, Shikumen has turned into a trendy place with bars, shops and restaurants.
    Your next stop is the over 400-year-old Yuyuan Garden. As a classic landscape garden located in the center of Shanghai old quarter, Yuyuan Garden still offers tranquility amongst city bustle. Here you will have time to appreciate the elegant pavilions, villas, lotus ponds and bridges.
    Then enjoy a bird’s eye view of this vibrant city from Oriental Pearl TV Tower. Get down from the tower, Shanghai History Museum will present you a vivid panorama of Shanghai’s development.
