    Day 1: Summer Palace

    After your arrival in Beijing, a guide will meet you at the airport. After a short refreshing break, you will begin the tour in China by visiting the famous Summer Palace. In this imperial summer residence, you can get to know the original Chinese culture in all its splendors and greatness.

    Day 2: Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven

    In the morning, we will visit the Forbidden City. The former imperial palace is one of the largest palace locations in the world, where Chinese emperors of several dynasties based. Immerse yourself in the impressive architectures and charming residential courtyards. In the afternoon, we will pay a visit to the Temple of Heaven, China's most important imperial temple site that is still well preserved.

    Day 3: The Great Wall, Departure from Beijing

    Today your trip to China begins with an excursion to the Great Wall of China, at Mutianyu Pass. You can hike to the top, where the view is unique if weather permits! In the afternoon, we will go back to downtown Beijing and visit Yonghegong Lama Temple, one of the largest lama temples outside Tibet and Beijing's best-restored temple facility. Dinner will be served in a typical Chinese restaurant. After that, the overnight train (sleeping car, 4-bed compartment) will take you to Xi'an.

    Day 4: The Great Mosque of Xi’an, Great Wild Goose Pagoda, Shaanxi Museum

    We arrive in Xi'an in the morning. The city served as the capital of ancient China for nearly two thousand years, and witnessed the flourishing Tang Dynasty. Upon your arrival in Xi'an, your guide will accompany you to a stroll through the Moslem Quarter, where you can visit the Great Mosque with Chinese characteristics. In the afternoon, you will visit the monument of the city, the Great Wild Goose Pagoda. After that, we will pay a visit to Shaanxi Museum, where you can admire numerous interesting exhibits about 3000 years’ Chinese history. Then today’s program concludes.

    Xi'an - Guilin

    Day 5: Terracotta Armies

    The highlight of your today’s program is the visit to the world-famous Terracotta Armies, which is a small part of the grand underground mausoleum of ancient China’s first emperor. It also remains completely undiscovered. Then we will fly to Guilin in the afternoon.

    Day 6: Elephant Trunk Hill. Ludiyan Tropical Cave

    Guilin’s landscape is one of the most charming in China. You will visit the beautiful Elephant Trunk Hill and the impressive Ludiyan Tropical Cave. In the evening, the city center is beautifully lit up, where you could enjoy a pleasant stroll.

    Day 7: Li River

    Today a cruise along the Li River is scheduled. On board, you can enjoy the fairy-tale landscape along the picturesque Li River. The destination is Yangshuo, a small town surrounded by beautiful mountainous landscapes. In the afternoon, you can explore Yangshuo by yourself or visit a typical Chinese village in the surrounding area with your guide. At dusk, you will begin your journey back to Guilin.

    Day 8: Departure from Guilin

    Today we are leaving for Shanghai. You will be escorted to the airport. After a two-hour flight, you will arrive in Shanghai and be taken to the hotel.

    Day 9: Yu Garden. Old Town Jade Buddha Temple. Xingtiandi

    Today will begin with a stroll through the old city of Shanghai. Then you can go to admire the Ming Dynasty's Yu Garden, which can give you better understanding to Chinese gardening traditional. In the afternoon, you will visit the Jade Buddha Temple and admire the two-meter-tall Buddha statue made of Jade. In the evening, you can walk through the former French concession to the Xingtiandi entertainment district. Your guide will be willing to give you valuable shopping tips!

    Day 10: Nanjing Road. The Bund. Jinmao Tower.

    In the morning, you begin by strolling through the famous shopping street, Nanjing Road, to the impressive coastal promenade Bund. At the Bund, you can appreciate numerous colonial buildings and enjoy the stunning Pudong Economic Zone. On the 420-metre-high view tower of Jinmao Tower, you can enjoy a magnificent view over the metropolis.

    Day 11: Departure

    In the morning, we will transfer you to the airport, where we have to say goodbye to each other. The return flight marks the end of your whole journey in China.
